During the operation in new Jersey, authorities seized 20 kg of fentanyl

In new Jersey, the group DEA conducted a large-scale operation, during which were seized such a quantity of fentanyl, which is more than enough to kill the entire population of the state.

Police arrested two men who tried to deliver more than 20 kg of fentanyl in new Jersey. The administration on struggle against drugs confirms that the dose of fentanyl 2 mg is usually considered fatal. Thus, it appears that 20 kg detected fentanyl could kill 10 million people.

48-year-old Luis Aponte from Hesperia (CA) and 29-year-old Danny Diaz from Philadelphia are accused of conspiracy and intent to sell more than 400 g of fentanyl. On Monday they appeared before a magistrate of the USA Joseph Dickson in Newark Federal court.

According to prosecutors, March 1, Aponte took the truck to one of the rest stops on the road in Bloomsbury. The next day Aponte met with Diaz in the car, gave him about 7 kg of fentanyl.

Agents of Management on struggle against drugs have arrested the men and searched the truck Aponte, inside of which found 13 kg of fentanyl and 5 kg of heroin. Aponte and Diaz were indicted under which they can receive from 10 years imprisonment to life imprisonment and a fine of up to $10 million.

This incident was investigated by DEA»s New York Drug Enforcement Task Force, which includes agents of the DEA, officers of the police Department of the city of new York and the police of the state of new York.
