Ridiculous attempt to escape was foiled by law enforcement officers of the state of North Carolina.
The offender, who arrived at court, managed to escape from the van for the prisoners, who was standing in the garage. He tried to hide from the police. But his orange jumpsuit was so visible that everyone around was paying attention to him. Less than five minutes the man was surrounded by police.
The incident occurred in the small town of Shelby on March 6. According to the representative of the County Sheriff’s Office Cleveland (Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office – CCSO) fugitive was Joseph Lee Shorts, previously convicted of Bank robbery. The man was taken to court along with 5 other prisoners.

But the bright jumpsuit gave the prisoner and left him no chance of going unnoticed.

The offender has spent in the wild about 5 minutes, thereby increasing the likely prison term for several years.
The County Sheriff’s Office Cleveland reported that Joseph Lee Shorts will soon be charged with trying to escape. In addition, the man had attacked a prison guard, which also exacerbated his situation. Obviously, would-be fugitive a long time to be released.
