In Jacksonville, Florida , on Friday, police arrested Lester Pearson on charges of murder in the 1999 police officer of new York Vincent Ling. Commissioner James O’neill in his tweet (the tweet is already deleted now) thanked her colleagues and personally to the Jacksonville Sheriff «capture professional criminal who killed NYPD officer».

However, later the Police Department of new York said that Lin actually alive and was after 1999, and then resigned. The Department stated that confusion about his death is linked to the wrong reading of the charges of attempted murder warrant for the arrest of Pearson. In fact, Lester Pearson and Vincent Ling faced in the shootout in the Bronx in December 1999, perhaps for personal reasons (was it a sister of Vincent, which have a Pearson, who then lived next door, had plans). It was hot, sounded just 11 shots. The officer’s name was not published because he was working undercover. With a bullet in the back, Ling was still alive, although later left the service.

Pearson all these 20 years were hiding in the basement, doing drugs and assaulting a policeman in Louisiana, he had over 100,000 followers on Instagram under the name Monsta Kodi, that was his rap name. He lived to the time of his arrest in a house in Jacksonville under the name of Michael Davis with his girlfriend and children.
