Law enforcement in Florida announced the arrest of a particularly dangerous neo-Nazi criminal who kidnapped a woman at a gas station for several hours and abused her. Moreover, the man tried to take hostage of another victim, who miraculously managed to avoid capture, and contributed to the capture of the attacker.
According to representatives of the Office of the Sheriff of Escambia (Escambia County Sheriff’s Office – ECSO), the attack took place last Monday, March 18, at around 23.00 local time. 37-year-old Joshua Edwards, who had an impressive criminal history and is a member of the neo-Nazi organization «Aryan nation», kidnapped a woman, an African-American woman from the gas station Circle K.

The perpetrator first asked me for a ride, and when I heard a crack, pulled out a gun and ordered the victim to sit in the car. The frightened woman unquestioningly complied with the requirements of the attacker, after which he took control of the transport and took the victim to Alabama. During the ride, the man made drug ecstasy, and forced the victim to do the same.
By sunrise the offender along with frightened woman was at the Park Bill Dixon Park. Trying to cross it, Edwards had damaged the car and decided to vent anger on the hostage. Neo-Nazi told the woman to come out, and then raped her.
Until the offender and the victim overcame a wooded area, the man repeatedly forced the victim to the intima, all the while threatening her with a gun. Eventually they got out of the Park on the damaged transport.
By this time Joshua Edwards decided that it was necessary to change the car. On the way he saw the second victim – Amanda staples. The woman was driving his car when a neo-Nazi walked up to her and asked me to tow them to the nearest store.
However, staples became suspicious and asked first to look to strangers. At the same time the offender realized that his cover was blown. Edwards pulled out a gun and taking away the keys from the landlady of the car, stole the car and fled in an unknown direction. Staples released the hostage, and then called the police.
Both women provided a detailed description of the attacker, who was detained on the same day. Neo-Nazi was arrested in a wooded area, close to Walmart supermarket. The police said that the man had repeatedly tried, but did not specify for which crimes. Now he faces a life sentence, and the police intends to add additional charges for committing repeated crimes.
It is noteworthy that the organization «Aryan nation» (Aryan Nation – AN) is included in the list of so-called hate groups. Members of AN involved in several high-profile crimes, including the shooting at the Jewish community center in Los Angeles.
