In new York Church, a woman shouted 70-year-old parishioner, «Shut up» and punched her in the face when she prayed

Police in Manhattan are looking for a woman who they say punched a 70-year-old parishioner in the face at a Church on the Upper East side.

According to the Department of the new York police Department (NYPD), the attack took place on Tuesday, March 26, at St. Monica’s Church on East 79th Street about 10 o’clock in the morning. The suspect entered the Church and yelled, «Shut up.» Then she went over to the woman, punched her in the face and ran away. As have informed in police, at the time of the incident, the victim was praying, and her phone was playing music.

The victim, who did not want to disclose his identity, was taken to a local hospital where she was diagnosed with a laceration.

The representative of the 19th police station, assistant superintendent Kathleen Welch said that the alleged intruder may have known as Annie and see her often in the area. The description is a woman of about 50 years. On the security camera, you can see that she was dressed in a black coat, black pants, she was wearing a black hat or hood.
