On Tuesday, April 2, the police Department of new York said that the woman hit Latino a chair in the face and made a racist comment.
The incident happened on March 25 around 10:30 am in the restaurant fast food McDonald’s on Canal Street between Lafayette Street and Cortlandt Alley in Chinatown. Police have released the suspect’s picture from the cameras in the subway station at Canal Street.
According to the NYPD, the woman approached the visitor of fast food and called the man a «fucking Mexican» and «fucking immigrant». Then she took a chair and hit the visitor in the face.
The victim survived the injury, so he was sent to Lower Manhattan Hospital – NewYork-Presbyterian.
After the crime, the culprit tried to escape the station on Canal Street, but couldn’t get through the turnstile. Later, she disappeared. Police asked for help identifying her.
According to the description of witnesses, the suspect about 35-45 years old, height – 157 cm, weight – 81 lbs. she was last seen in a brown jacket, black trousers and black-and-white sneakers, and in her hands was a black umbrella.

It is not known what prompted the woman to such behavior. At the moment police are investigating the incident as a possible crime of hate.
