Wednesday, April 3, 67-year-old man died after falling from a height in the national Park Grand Canyon (Grand Canyon, state of Arizona).
The death of a tourist has become the third in the Park for the last 8 days.
According to preliminary information, the man fell from a height of about 400 feet (121 meters). The name of the deceased is not reported, but according to NBC, he was from California. National Park officials are investigating the incident.
Last Thursday, March 28, the Hong Kong tourist died trying to take a selfie in one of the most popular tourist destinations Indian reservation Hualapai — Grand Canyon West’s Eagle Point.
According to the representative of the national Park, David Leibovitz, the man was among a tour group. In this area signs warn tourists about the need to stay away from the edge, but no fences there.
