Shocking video: in the US a woman was hit by the car of metrotrama after her hand stuck in the door

Just this morning we reported on the tragic death of a resident of Brooklyn who fell under the wheels of the train, and here a similar situation occurred in San Francisco. Fortunately, in this case, the victim survived.

The incident occurred on April 12 at the Embarcadero station. Video surveillance is seen as a woman walks down the stairs and wants to go to a Muni Metro train when the doors start to close. At this point, she gets her hand stuck in the door. Then she says something to the person standing on the platform a few steps away from her, but the train begins to move. She tries to catch him but could not keep his balance and falls under a train.

The events were watched by many passengers, but it all happened so quickly that nobody had time to do. The unidentified victim survived the fall, but her condition is still unknown.

But even after this incident, the municipal transportation Agency of San Francisco (SFMTA) says that the sliding door in their new trains safe.

«Inside doors have sensitive edges that can determine when the door is hand or any object impeding its closing. In this case, it turns out that the door was closed less than half an inch, and at the last millisecond, this man took hold of the door and tried to open it,» said a spokesman for the SFMTA, Paul rose in an interview with ABC. They were certified by the CPUC (utilities Commission of the state of California) and have undergone six months of testing before we put them into operation».

After this incident, the CPUC noted that it would investigate and verify as a system of pins, and sliding doors.

Muni Metro is a modern tram system in San Francisco, in which trains run under the ground and on the surface, along the tram routes.
