Two exhausted teenagers drowning in the ocean, began to pray for salvation, and they came to the aid of a boat, «Amen.»

When 6 years ago Eric Wagner bought a yacht called «Amen,» he could not think of what his ship will come to the rescue of two teenagers from Florida who nearly drowned in the ocean.

Wagner and his team drove 53-foot yacht, EN route from Delray beach in Florida at new Jersey, when through the noise of motor, waves and wind they heard the «desperate cry». They were 2 miles (3 km) from the coast, so Wagner did not at first believe his own ears. Then they saw a hand breaking through the water behind them. «It was surprising that we heard them. Especially when they were away from us for almost 200 yards. But we just heard a scream, so I started to look around».

The sailors turned the ship and approached the teenagers close enough to throw life jackets and ropes. Eric recalls: «It felt like it took forever». When Teens were pulled from the water, Tyler Smith (17) and Heather brown (17 years old) very much I was shaking and could barely speak. Smith and brown told WJAX, the local office of CNN, they had been in the water almost 2 hours before they were rescued.

17-year-olds went swimming at the beach, Vilano beach near St. Augustine, but they caught a powerful current and carried far from land. They floated farther and farther away, they almost exhausted, and had already decided that I will not survive. Therefore, we began to pray for salvation. It was then that they saw the ship with the eloquent title «Amen.»

Heather recalls: «When we pulled out of the water, my first words were: «God exists»».

Wagner said that they have decided that Teens from hypothermia, so I covered them with towels and blankets and heated in a microwave oven water that they could drink: «after 10 minutes they felt fine and was able to talk.» The sailors called the coast guard and after 30-40 minutes, gave them teenagers.

Wagner added that the salvation of the children has strengthened his faith. He explained: «I think it was too much of a coincidence that it could be called an accident. I truly believe it was divine intervention. I was in the right place at the right time and did the same as any other in my place, helped them to climb aboard.»

Eric added that he had plans to upgrade the ship and change its name, but now he just will not do. «Definitely not, I’ll leave this title. «Amen,» forever,» he said.
