Iguana was injured after the man pulled it from under his shirt and threw it into a restaurant Manager in Ohio. Now she is under the care of a public organization is forced to wait for court authorization to treatment of a lizard.
A spokeswoman for the animal protection organizations in Lake County Humane Society Allison Roethlisberger said on Saturday WEWS-TV that the female iguanas turquoise color, which police have nicknamed the copper, broken foot, broken bone metabolism and have other health problems. The owner of the iguana, the man, 49, charged with animal cruelty and violation of public order, which are considered minor offences.
According to reports of officials on 16 April, the man threw in the waitress of the restaurant Perkins Restaurant in Painesville (which is 30 miles from Cleveland) menu. When the Manager intervened, the man pulled from under his shirt iguana, unscrewed it and threw it to the man. What provoked the attack was not reported.
