Two students of the University of Texas in San Marcos was found dead near campus. The police believe it was a murder-suicide.
As reported by KEYE, Matthew Pfleger (24) and Connor Shannon (24 years old) were friends together and rented housing. Just got home and found a mutual friend of the guys. It happened at 9:30 on Sunday.
Investigators believe Matthew fired several shots at Connor in the house, and then tried to kill himself with a knife. The police added that he then went out into the yard and shot himself in the head.
That was the cause of the tragedy was not reported.
Friends of the young people paid tribute to their memory in social networks. Their friend Sheyann Brazier wrote in Facebook: «Connor Shannon, you always supported me and knew how to brighten someone’s day! You saw the good in everyone! You were my best friend and I love you very much! May your good soul rest in peace!»

Cheyenn also added that Matthew was «like a big brother,» and she felt «grief» when he learned of the death of the boys.
She wrote: «Matthew Pfluger, you were one of my first friends when my family moved to Austin. You always made everyone laugh and was such a weirdo!»
