A resident of new haven is accused of sending letters with white powder and threats of the assassination of President trump

According to the U.S. Department of justice, Federal Prosecutor in Connecticut, John Durham has accused a former resident of new haven Gary Joseph Gravelle, also known as Roland Prejean, in the numerous threats and the mention of the use of explosives and biotoxins, as well as threats to the President Donald Trump.

According to the indictment, the 51-year-old Gravell identify themselves as members of separatist group of the American Knights of Anarchy, or AKA.

Gravellu charged with 16 charges of false information regarding explosives, misinformation and threats against the President. Threats men affected many cities in Connecticut including new haven, Groton, Hartford and old Saybrook, as well as Seattle, Washington and Burlington in Vermont.

The offences occurred in September 2018, when Gravell sent a series of emails and made several phone calls threatening to detonate bombs at several points in new haven, including Fellowship Place Continuum of Care and the Connecticut Mental Health Center.

The same threats he made against Abraham A. Ribicoff Federal Building in Hartford, Old Saybrook Center, First Bristol Federal Credit Union Bristol, Federal Detention Center, SeaTac in Seattle and Burlington International Airport.

According to the Associated Press, in the same period of Gravell sent out letters with white powder, claiming it was anthrax. The victims of the mailings was not, at least in two of them was baby powder. Gravel also made threats against President Donald trump. The incident was similar to previous cases of alleged use of anthrax.

Initially Gravell was arrested on charges of violating the conditions of release under supervision.

In July 2013 Gravel was sentenced to 70 months in prison and 3 years of release under supervision for sending threatening letters. Latest charges could lead to a long period in a century, if we take into account the maximum possible on the charges specified in the documents.

It is also emphasized that the accusation is not proof of guilt, and a defendant is presumed innocent until, until his guilt is proven.
