Daughter scout has earned $700 by selling cookies, and her father staged the robbery to keep the money

A resident of Oregon on Monday admitted that he made up the story about the robbery of own house in March, only to hide the fact that he embezzled $700, which his daughter scout has earned by selling cookies.

Fox 12 reports that Brian David Couture (40 years) on Monday pleaded guilty to false reporting to the police. Couture called the police on March 6 to report the robbery of his home in forest grove in Oregon outside of Portland. Police found the man unconscious and took him to the hospital. He allegedly told the officers that fought with the robber.

He called 911 to report a robbery at his home but @ForestGrovePD quickly determined there was more to the story.

Investigators said that the couture house was searched and stolen from banks $700 that his daughter earned by selling cookies as a girl scout. The Prosecutor’s office Washington County said that the house was found the blood, but Couture said that it was most likely his blood. No suspects were found and the investigators noticed a few inconsistencies in the history of couture. In addition, the police tried to involve the investigation of the robbery, police bloodhounds, but this attempt proved unsuccessful, the officers seemed too suspicious. In the district attorney’s office added that, in the end, the man confessed that he faked the robbery, when he realized that he can’t explain, where did the money he actually spent on erotic massage.

On Monday, couture was sentenced to pay a fine of $100, probation and 80 hours of compulsory works. The amount of damage that you will need to pay will be established later.

Media reported that locals are shocked that in their neighborhood there was a robbery, was happy to hear the truth. Neighbor Brooke gwin said, «a Big relief. A very big relief. We locked all our doors, and I started to set the alarm the day because I was afraid to stay all day alone.»
