As in a nightmare: the Python crawled out of the toilet and bit the man

In large cities, such as, for example, new York city, there are urban legends about alligators that once dwelt in the sewers and now can bite humans for a soft place when he is least expecting.

However, such a «horror story», though not an alligator, and a serpent, has become a reality for 52-year-old resident of Florida.

Last Sunday at the coral springs 4-foot snake (1.2 m) slipped out of the toilet when the man lifted the lid and bit his hand.

Fortunately for a Floridian, this was not a poisonous snake, but «only» the Royal Python. The incident occurred in a house on the 2600 block of Riverside Drive.

The victim, in fact, escaped with a fright, he had not been hospitalized, and was given first aid on the spot.

According to police spokesman Chris Swinson, the snake did not belong to the person bitten, and it is unclear how she got to the toilet.

«Maybe it belonged to the previous tenant or somehow got into the water system,» said a police officer.

The Python was taken to the vet because the snake requires treatment from a massive infection.

Royal pythons can reach 6 feet in length (almost 2 meters), but they are timid snakes and do not grow as big as Burmese pythons, which have long been settled in the Everglades. Native to Africa, the ball Python has become a popular pet.

Interestingly, over the years, and other reptiles «found their way» into the toilets of South Florida. So, for example, in March in the Fort Lauderdale fire Department freed from the toilet in a residential building iguana.
