Treasure hunter of Sarasota, Florida found a thing that its owner can be more valuable treasure: a miniature trash can on the chain, which apparently contains the ashes of the mother of man.
Sunday Sean Rauch, which has long been engaged in the search for missing items with his metal detector and explored the waters near Siesta beach in search of a ring that someone lost. At sunset he was ready to give up. «The sun was going down, and I started to move back to the car,» he said on Tuesday. «I’m going through the channel. I on the chin in water, and suddenly I hear this pleasant sound of the metal detector».
Rauch plunged into the water and pulled the chain. He says: «I said, «Wow, it looks like a little urn»».
On a small pendant in the shape of the urn was written a single word — «Mama.»
«As soon as I realized that this decoration is the ashes of someone’s mother, I said, «If I have to return something, let it be urn»», — the man told FOX 13. He noted that the chain with the box, probably fell in the water on the weekends. «It looked brand new, so I think it dropped in the last 2 days, maybe even that day, when I found her, judging by her condition.»
Rauch have a well-developed ability to find lost items and return them to their owners. For the last 6 years he was able to do it 20-30 times, including diamond engagement rings, Rolex watches and car keys. But this will probably be his most challenging mission.
«What I like to do most is to return things, and this is the most important thing I can return,» said he. «Imagine how horrible it is. It could be the last piece of his mother, who was human, and now it’s gone.»
The man posted a photo of the decorations in the social network and asked people who care to help him find the owner. Less than 24 hours post Rauch on Facebook about found the chain was shared nearly 2,000 times. And he asks anyone who may know the owner, contact him at Facebook.
