The body of missing 5-year-old Lizzie Shelly found a block from her home after her 21-year-old uncle promised that he will avoid the death penalty

After became aware of the sad discovery, a family spokesperson Jill Parker read out a statement on behalf of her mother, Lizzie Jessica who thanked everyone who helped look for her daughter. It read: «no words can Express the sadness that we feel today. It didn’t end the way we wanted.»

The police found him on Saturday afternoon in a secluded area about 10 miles from the family home a few hours after the disappearance of the child. It is reported that he was carrying her clothes.
