In a shooting in Virginia beach killed 11 people, 6 injured

As a result of fire in the municipal complex Public Works in Virginia beach (Virginia) killed 11 people. At least 6 injured — the severity of their injuries is unknown.

Megan Benton, working in the building where the incident occurred, told Channel 13 News that has barricaded himself in the office along with 20 colleagues, heard the gunshots.

“Affected friends, neighbors, people who work for Virginia beach. — commented on the incident city Council member Michael Berlucchi. Is a terrible and senseless tragedy.”

According to police, the gunman acted alone. Although it was initially alleged that he was detained, the head of the police Department, James Cervera denied this information, saying that the shooter killed. His identity and motives have not been disclosed, but we know that he worked in the complex.
