California girl, who died after he lost balance and fell into the falls at lake Tahoe, has not done a selfie, as initially reported by law enforcement agencies.
According to the Sheriff of the County of El Dorado, the deceased was 35-year-old mother of three children, Dina, Stephanie Espinozaliving in the Bay area of San Francisco. According to the first message to North Tahoe Fire Protection District, a woman was sitting in a natural pool near the waterfall, Eagle falls; at some point, she decided to reach the branch, slipped and fell.
«We have placed the information we had at the time, based on the data of witnesses and the County Sheriff’s office El Dorado, says a new statement. She reached to the branch of a tree, when it was absorbed by the waterfall. It is a terrible loss for all who loved her».
The County Sheriff’s office El Dorado confirmed that the woman reached for the branch. She was «swept away by the fast moving waters of the falls», is spoken in the message of office.
«Don’t underestimate the power of waterfalls, rivers and the temperature of the cold water,» said representatives of the Sheriff in a post on Facebook.
Brother Espinoza, Nick Martinez, told KOVR that his sister photographed nothing, and there was no phone when she fell. He assured her that she «was just trying to enjoy the moment.»
«Those of you who know Stephanie, you know how much love she gave to those who were in her life, she was always there to help and support,» reads a page on the GoFundMe platform.
The deceased was a successful businessman and loved nature. The funds raised will go to the Espinoza’s funeral and to help her children.

Espinoza’s body was found in a Cove in the State Park Emerland Bay.
