Rapid fire on the territory with bushes broke out near a large amusement Park in southern California on Sunday. Because of the fire hundreds of Park visitors had to run to the exit to escape from the smoke and ash. However, firefighters told them to stay put while they put out the fire.

Park Six Flags Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor announced the evacuation after noon, worrying about the safety of visitors and Park staff. Melanie Flores, Manager of the fire Department of Los Angeles, told the Los Angeles Times that the Park decided to evacuate visitors. «We didn’t tell them to do,» she said.

Park visitors asked to be closer to the far edge of the territory of 260 acres, away from the fire at the entrance, said Rachel West, who was visiting a friend working in the Park. «I bought a coffee and when I got to the street, I was showered with ashes. There was a large cloud of smoke. I saw people panicking around me. They knew not where they need to go.»

Salein Gonzalez (34 years old) said that he had seen people ran out of the Park in bathing suits. She told me that when he tried to drive up to the entrance to pick up her husband and 2 young sons, the police told her to go back to the Parking lot.
