«No one called me. Nobody gave me know what is going on with my son. Me, as a parent of my child, completely ignored. Someone please help me understand why my child with disabilities was questioned without my presence?»- wrote Kelly, adding that a police officer contacted her at 16:00 after her son was questioned.

During that conversation the officer told Kelly that they decided that her son did not commit any crimes, so it is not trying to spend the money.

«I don’t understand. I have revised the rules of the school district; we are never told about what would happen if someone really tries to pay with fake money. There was nothing illegal; who in the school district decided what happened so serious a crime that we should call the police instead of calling his mother»,- she wrote.

In fact, the school district stated that the rule is to contact the police if a pupil suspected of using counterfeit money to buy. However, the son of Kelly didn’t tried to buy toy money.
