Bitten and ran away.
On Monday, the police said that the alligator bit off a piece of the car of the Deputy Sheriff of Louisiana, and then ran away.
The County Sheriff’s office Caddo parish stated that 8-foot alligator was spotted on Monday night in the middle of the highway on the elevated terrain North of the County Caddo parish. Police officers tried to detain the alligator to experts at a wildlife rescue had to come get him, but the reptile managed to escape.
However the alligator did not go with empty hands, so to speak, because, as stated in the Sheriff’s office, he took a bite of the police patrol car.

This 8-foot alligator tonight noticed in the middle of highway 1 on the hilly terrain in the North of the County Caddo parish. Sheriff’s deputies tried to detain him until the arrival of the experts on wild animals. He ran away, but first took a bite out of our patrol car of a Deputy Sheriff.

Social media users were impressed and joked about the escape of an alligator.
One wrote: «I need a copy of the report about this incident.» The second added: «At least they still have the photo of the fugitive.» Someone wished: «good Luck with filling out paperwork for the insurance company».
Not afraid readers to laugh at themselves deputies. Someone wrote: «See, even the alligators are not afraid of the police. I bet other reptiles filmed the whole incident on their alligatoroidea».
