The woman told how found a dead bird inside his canned spinach while I was cooking dinner.
Sheri Lyons of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, last week posted on Facebook photos of dead birds, which, according to her, she found inside canned leaf spinach Del Monte.
That’s what the woman wrote:
So, for lunch today I grilled chicken, baked potatoes and chick…spinach! I received moral trauma! I have found strange things in canned vegetables, but I’ve never seen anything like it… I have repeatedly washed my hands but still not feel clean and I feel sick. Someone tomorrow will give me an answer on the phone! So disgusting to know that I almost ate it! (bird)
Sheri said that it took her several minutes to realize that on the bottom of the can with spinach is a bird.
She recalls: «I immediately became ill and almost threw up. The next day, I felt bad.»
Lyons says that when she asked the seller of the spinach – Del Monte company, she was offered a check for $10 and asked to stick them to the bird. «When I called the company, they behave like you don’t believe me,» explained the frustrated woman York Daily Record.
In turn, the company is Del Monte, said that investigating the issue.
The company commented on the incident: «Del Monte Foods is committed to creating high quality, safe and nutritious products. At the moment we cooperate with customer to get more information and investigate the issue. We use a system of strict control in order to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety and purity.»
Sheri said that he had not sent the bird in Del Monte, but turned to the lawyers.
