The mother was arrested after she allegedly smothered her 8-year-old son because she had demons.
In a written statement of the case against 30-year Silence Sanchez of Irving, Texas States that her sister called 911 on Sunday about 7:30.
The woman’s sister told police that Sanchez called her and apologized, claiming that demons ordered her to sacrifice her son, 8-year-old Giovanni De La Pena.
Sister Sanchez went to the family’s house on Peach Tree Lane and found her nephew unconscious in the backyard. According to her, her sister was probably killed by Giovanni, strangled him with a pillow.

Robert Reeves, an officer from Irving, said: «it was suggested that the mother in my head I had the thoughts that told her what to do.»
The police said that this was not their first meeting with Sanchez. In November, employees of a clothing store Ross called the police, worried about how Sanchez was dragging her child by the hand. Police at the time did not forward her accusations of child abuse, but she was accused of assaulting an officer and resisting arrest. They also had concerns about her mental health.
Reeves said: «the Officers believed that it is best to issue a warrant for her health and take her to the hospital that day.»
Last year the family was also interested in the guardianship. The service representative said they opened a case but closed it in January without taking any action. They said that the mother was very supportive of her family members, and accusations of child abuse was not.
Deconde Sadie – friend of the family, said the world has lost a kind and curious boy. «It was a child, that everyone dreams. He was so cute. He was the kind of kid who made you feel special around him. He was always ready to hug, even if he met you for the first time in my life. It was a beautiful baby.»
Sanchez was arrested, and the woman was charged with murder, which is punishable by death. She is being detained in the prison of Irving and the amount of the Deposit is equal to $2 million.
