Deputies of the Harris County (Texas) arrested a suspect in the murder of 11-year-old Camren Jones, who was killed when he was sleeping in his bed.
Kamran was shot about 4:30 a.m. June 9 in his home. Investigators said Kamran killed by mistake. The Sheriff of Harris County ed Gonzalez believes that the gunman was pursued by the previous tenants who had a history of criminal activity.
«Everything he did was go to sleep. Just one trip to sleep, and my baby never wakes up and I just can’t believe it,» said Kenyat Jones, father Kamran.
The Sheriff’s office Harris County ABC13 has confirmed that last year the house received six calls. One of them was shooting, the aim of which was the tenant.
Sheriff ed Gonzalez said several other children were in the room during the shooting but were not injured.
In the end, law enforcement officers arrested 21-year-old Sonny Reyes and charged with the murder of a child.
