«He tried to get me somewhere to take»: 13-year-old girl fought off a kidnapper grab her on the doorstep

On a shocking video from surveillance cameras on returning from the summer school 13-year-old girl at the threshold of her home is attacked by unknown. A man grabs a teenager and trying to somewhere to steal — but, fortunately, the girl manages to fight him off.

The incident occurred in Hempstead (new York) Tuesday, 2 July, afternoon. According to the victim, the attacker followed her trail about 1.5 miles from Lawrence Road Middle School. Although the girl never saw her assailant, she immediately thought that «something is wrong».

On the record, after the girl comes to the door, the kidnapper attacks her from behind and clamps a hand over my mouth. The girl manages to escape, but again, the unknown grabs her and tries to pull over a car parked nearby.

In the end, the teenager manages to escape again and run to the door. The victim knocks as long as it opens with 17-year-old brother, letting the girl inside, the guy leaves the house and drives away the intruder.

The girl has no doubts: the incident was a kidnapping attempt and the attacker «tried it somewhere to pick up.» According to the child’s mother, she will never allow his daughter to return home alone.

According to the authorities of Nassau County, a man was detained on Wednesday, July 3; at the moment he is in custody. The identity of the man has not been disclosed. Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at the number 1-800-244-TIPS.
