The Amtrak train with 267 passengers derailed

Sunday afternoon in Washington state derailed the train company Amtrak. According to a statement by the carrier that the vehicle was carrying 267 passengers — some of them received minor injuries but nobody was seriously hurt.

The accident occurred at about 14:30 on the bridge at chambers Bay in the town of Steilacoom. When train No. 506 Eugene-Springfield drove through the crossing, 4 out of 15 of its cars overturned.

Rescuers took the injured passengers to the river station to the other 215 people were taken to the station to Tacoma station by bus.

Firefighters arrived on the scene, in order to eliminate possible spillage of fuel, but as it turned out, the fuel is not spilled into the river.
