Scotty Lee Lewis, 28, of Rockwell (North Carolina) was arrested for animal cruelty after in social networks there were pictures in which his dog dragging a brick.
In the photo, which after the publication shared thousands of times, Lewis was walking his puppy in the Parking lot of the local shop — and he drags along the ground attached to it a brick. Police and animal welfare immediately began an investigation, but the dog still not found. When Lewis was arrested, he said that the puppy stole from him.

The man claims that he tried «to train» pet to the «gained muscle» — however, experts stress that such training could «cause irreparable harm to internal organs of the animal».
