In the U.S. a father of twins accused of killing infants who spent all day in the hot sun the car while he was at work

One-year-old twins were found dead and foaming at the mouth at the back of the car — after his father left them for 8 hours in a hot car.

The incident occurred on Friday, July 26 in the Bronx at the intersection of West Kingsbridge Road and Kingsbridge Terrace. As reported by the Post, sources in the NYPD, the children’s father, 39-year-old Juan Rodriguez, went to work around 8 a.m. and left the kids in the car. In the afternoon the air temperature outside was about 27 °C.

According to PIX11, the man worked at the hospital James J. Peters VA Hospital, which handles cases of veterans. Rodriguez returned to the car around 16:00, drove a short distance and only then noticed the lifeless children.

The police were called by a passerby who saw the man screaming on the roadside. Neighborhood residents surprised that no one had ever noticed kids as the Bronx quite lively.

Neighbors of the spouses Rodriguez, who live in new city in Rockland County, was shocked by the tragic news. According to inhabitants, the twins only recently celebrated its first birthday. It was a big party in the backyard of the family home.

«I’ve never seen them outside unattended,» said a neighbor about the twins and their older brother, who is 4 years old. The man, who wished to remain anonymous, called parents loving and attentive.

The father was charged with two counts of murder by negligence and two counts of murder committed with criminal negligence.
