Shooting at a party in Brooklyn: there are dead, 11 injured

On Saturday, July 27, in the evening two gunmen opened fire on a crowd in Brooklyn’s Brownsville. Killing 38-year-old man and 11 people were injured.

The shooting occurred at the annual two-day party at «Old Timers Day», which is traditionally held at the Mendoza Park at the intersection of Christopher and Hegeman Avenue. The law enforcement sources told The Post that the suspects in the shooting two people and is still at large. They managed to conduct an armed attack, despite the nearly 100 police, watching over what is happening.

«I’ve never heard of the 12 people injured in a single incident, ever,» said one of the investigators-veterans of the newspaper the Post.

By midnight, the detectives found one of the abandoned firearm. They combed the crime scene to find more evidence among the hundreds of scattered beer bottles, cans, cups and other debris.

The wounded were taken to Brookdale Hospital and Kings County Hospital.

The mayor of new York bill de Blasio responded to a shooting today, July 28, early in the morning.
