Threat for saving his 11-year-old son in Atlantic city died 58-year-old man

On the beach at Atlantic city, new Jersey drowned man. 58-year-old Thanh Bui jumped in to help his 11-year-old son to get to shore. The boy eventually made it to shore and survived.

Reportedly, the boy got into a strong current and couldn’t get out himself. Employees of the emergency services went to the beach around 9:30 in the morning. Before they arrived, than from the Buoy reading jumped in to help his son. The boy escaped, but his father also could not cope with the flow. A former police officer, Jim Glorioso, who was on the beach, jumped into the water and tried to pull the man.

«I jumped in the water. I don’t even remember what was floating… then I saw something similar on a log. When I got closer I realized it was a body. I turned it over. the man already went frothing at the mouth,» said Glorioso.

«I’ve tried my best to do CPR, but it was too late. It was clear that he was dead.But I wanted at least to try. Then I realized that now I’m in trouble. I swam back. Very to worry because I was floating 5 feet ahead to the shore and the current carried me back 10 feet. Thank God, rescuers who arrived at 10 immediately rushed to the beach,» he continued.

The rescue workers soon pulled the two men to shore, but the Buoy was no longer alive. He was soon declared dead at the hospital. A former police officer was not injured.
