9-year-old girl died 3 days after he fell out of a tree right on a piece of rebar that was stuck in her head. The parents decided to donate her organs and corneas to those who can help.
Shaylene Bergeson played in the back yard when the accident happened. The girl was taken to regional medical center in Idaho falls, then to children’s hospital in salt lake city, where doctors performed an emergency surgery.
«She removed half of his skull to relieve the pressure. — said the mother of Shailene, Jesse Bergeson In the right hemisphere of the brain had a lot of bleeding. The doctor said, the probability that she will not survive the surgery 50% but she can do this.»
Despite the efforts of doctors, Shailene still died.

«Shaylene, died at 8:45 PM very quietly and quickly, which is important for transplantation of organs. Our baby was able to save four lives and someone else’s vision. The transplant team was able to extract her liver, kidneys, heart valves and cornea. We are completely devastated but we are also very happy for those five people who would receive in response to their prayers, a phone call, which they desperately asked for.»
Jesse says that they are shortly before the accident spoke with Shaylene and her older brother on the donation. The girl without hesitation expressed his willingness to sacrifice everything.
«Our angel has always been the most sweet, kind and selfless girl. Unfortunately, God for some reason wished to talk about the donation was not random.»
