Saved water, and Coca-Cola: an elderly man after a bad fall 5 days living down the soda

An elderly man was saved by the friendly postman, neighbours and first responders after he fell in his house and couldn’t stand up.

The man who lives in the area of Williamsburg in Arlington, 5 days of lay on the kitchen floor and the only thing he could reach out a hand, turned out to be Coca-Cola, where he was kept all this time.

Jared Agnew, a neighbor, said that the postman was the first to notice that something is wrong on Friday 2 August. «She asked if you saw someone elderly man,» he told Agnew. «His door was open a couple of days, and she noticed that almost no one was taking».

Jared said that after the men, one of the neighbors called the police, and then call the police arrived and opened the front door. Officers found the man on the floor and called paramedics who took the victim to a local hospital.

At approximately 12:45 on 2 August the police arrived at the result reports of suspicious circumstances, after a neighbor noticed that the door of the residential house was opened, and the door of the accumulated mail. Upon arrival, officers found an adult man, which was needed medical care. The man was transported to the hospital doctors fire brigade of the County of Arlington.

Agnew said police told him the injured man fell on Monday and, not being able to get up, survive, eating only Coca-Cola, which stood on the floor beside him.

Captain Ben O’bryant, the fire brigade spokesman, said that the elderly man was in satisfactory condition when he was taken to the hospital Virginia Hospital Center.
