Up in the air parasol stabbed 13-year-old boy

A boy of 13 years who was vacationing in Gloucester, Massachusetts, was rushed to a hospital on Friday after he stabbed up in the air, beach umbrella.

The boy received a stab wound of the left shoulder on the beach Good Harbor Beach in Massachusetts, around 13:30.

The witness said that other vacationers, nurse and rescue workers immediately ran to help the teenager. Jacob VarguS saw what happened and said: «When I saw what happened, I ran. Running to the boy, I saw a hole in his hand, so he began to talk to him. The other woman began to tighten the harness, while others called an ambulance».

Mike Mamoto, who also witnessed the incident, said: «These things, unfortunately, happen all the time. People don’t dig in them deep in the ground, and they could kill you, so I hope it will be a lesson for beach goers to better digged the poles of the umbrellas, so they do not fly off and not hurt anybody.»

Lieutenant of the fire brigade Gloucester Nick Oulette told on arrival at the scene of the incident, the boy was in satisfactory condition, not crying, not screaming and his arm is not sticking a beach umbrella.

He added: «When we heard about the accident on the radio, it was the second call to the beach for us, so we were able to confirm that the boy was wounded by a beach umbrella. It’s a pretty rare occurrence here, even taking into account the number of people on the beach and the number of people who visit our beaches every year, this is a rare event.»

The boy received a serious injury, which, however is not in danger of his life.
