Six wounded officers in Pennsylvania: the crowd laughed and shouted, encouraging barricaded arrow

There was a video, which mocks the crowd and even pushing officers during their eight-hour standoff with the gunman, who last week barricaded himself in the house in Philadelphia.

In the course of shooting six officers were injured.

The suspect, 36-year-old Maurice hill, was taken into custody by the SWAT team after the house was tear gas.

According to witnesses, some people from the crowd gathered at the house from where the shooter fired from an AK-47, egging him on, calling «John Wick».

«The main disappointment was to see how the crowd taunted the police, laughing and yelling at them during the shooting,» wrote a reporter for CBS3 Alexandria Hoff on Twitter.

The crowd taunted the police, someone even threw them in some object.

«Philadelphia shooter was not supposed to be free. He has several criminal charges. And, judging by his face, he was quite pleased when he was arrested after he wounded many police officers. For such criminals should be more than long prison sentences».

At a press conference on Thursday the authorities of Pennsylvania, and one of the senators called on Congress «to act to remove assault rifles from the streets.»

The incident occurred after a series of mass executions in California, Texas and Ohio in which the militants used semi-automatic rifles.

Attorney for the Eastern district of Pennsylvania, William Macswain, said that in Philadelphia there is a new culture of disrespect for law enforcement.

«We have experienced more than two years the worst slander on law enforcement officers. This nasty rhetoric puts our police in danger, it’s hurting good people in Philadelphia.»
