A Florida man was arrested on suspicion of trying to kidnap a boy while he was walking home from school.
26-year-old Timothy Miller, charged that he persuaded a 12-year-old child to sit in his white pickup after 21 August, the boy came down from his school bus in Boynton beach (FL).
According to the police Department of Boynton beach, Miller stopped beside the child and offered him a ride. The child said that the suspect seemed «nice, and friendly smiled,» so he got into the car.
Miller allegedly asked the child if he had any drugs, and began «it is strange to look at him,» according to the affidavit. The boy got scared and tried to open the door to get out of the car. Then Miller began to go faster, not to allow the boy to leave, but the child was scared and eventually jumped from the moving vehicle.
Two people who saw the boy jump out of the car, chased Miller and detained him until the police arrived. The victim briefly lost consciousness, hitting his head on the pavement when he tried to escape from the suspect.

Miller told the police that he thought the boy was 14 to 16 years and admitted that he wanted to buy drugs from him.
