«How anyone could do that»: the Labrador running for «the woman who left him on the roadside and drove away» (video)

Employees of the Department of animal control are searching for the driver of the car from the video, which someone allegedly throws his dog in a strange area, and then leaves. The video begins with the fact that the animal is near the car. The moment when the dog was dropped off from a car, not on the tape. Then the machine turns and leaves, and the animal rushes out of the car on the way, until it disappears.

Bob Edmonds recorded videos on the phone on Sunday morning on the road East Mud River Road in Milton, West Virginia. «I just don’t understand how someone could do that,» said the man.

On Monday night, this video was viewed for about 150 thousand times.

Stephanie Elswick, a rescuer, a volunteer, said that this video made her so excited that she couldn’t sleep. «I saw it, and decided that I should help,» she said.

She left early Monday morning from his home in Barboursville and began searching for the animal. She says that at first she was not lucky, but she returned in the afternoon of the same day and saw Labrador. «It’s like looking for a needle in a haystack, but I was very lucky,» she said.

Elswick added that he saw a dog tied to the court house, about a mile from where it was left. «I asked them whether it’s a dog,» she says. «They answered, «no.» They found him on the road and tied to it was safe.»

The dog seems healthy and friendly, making it even harder to believe why someone decided to leave her. «Do not throw them on the road here so they can take care of themselves,» says Stephanie.

«I hope people at least talk, so they understand what they did wrong,» Edmonds said.

Elswick added: «He deserves the best. Now he gets the chance.» The woman took the dog to Huntington Animal Control. Several people have already expressed their desire to take the dog yourself.

It is reported that the license plate of the car in that video is hard to see. Therefore, employees of the Department of animal control expressed the hope that someone will help them identify the car and its owner.

On Monday evening at WSAZ the man called, stating that the driver of that car were his girlfriend. He said that the dog followed her home, and she simply returned the dog to the area where he began to follow her. She hoped that in this way he will be able to be reunited with their owners. Boyfriend women said they still are unable to contact animal control.
