Arrested a resident of Houston (state of Texas) after the body of her 5-year-old daughter was found in a closet in the apartment.
As reported by the Houston police, they arrested 27-year-old Priscilla Torres in connection with the death of her daughter Sierra Patino. Torres is suspected of «participation» in the death of the girl, and she can have additional charges.

On Monday, relatives came to Priscilla after not seen her daughter for several days. When they feel bad, Priscilla admitted that the girl’s body hanging in the closet.
Investigators are awaiting results of the autopsy, which should determine the cause of death. It is unclear whether it died of the Sierra from accidental or deliberate action, but Torres initially told that her daughter died on August 27 after had a cleaner toilet.
However, the suspect later changed his story. According to her, her boyfriend scored the girl’s bathroom while Priscilla herself was preparing dinner, and when he returned, he saw that the child was covered with chemical burns.

Priscilla said she wrapped the girl in blankets and kept in a closet for four days (!), before the baby died because I was afraid I would lose custody of her daughter if you seek medical help.
«Regardless of whether it was accidental or deliberate, but to live, knowing that in the closet – the decaying body of her daughter is unthinkable,» said Lieutenant Houston police Larry Crowson.
According to the authorities of Houston, the family never got into the field of view of the Service for the protection of children.
