61-year-old Terry Majors shot and killed his wife Lee Shea-Majors and grandson Taya Dodson, and then killed himself. Before the shooting started, the boy said his 4-year-old sister to run and frightened little girl ran to the neighbors for help.
According to neighbors, grandparents, grandchildren and loved ones often visited them. They describe the couple as friendly and always ready to help friends. Friends and relatives are still in shock and have no idea what caused the grandfather to commit a double murder-suicide.
Ty Dodson and his sister lived with his mother and stepfather to Kentucky, but on the weekends the children often came to her uncle, and grandparents in Hermitage (tn). Ty’s father died two weeks before his birth.
