In new York a car crashed into the lobby of the Trump Plaza: there are victims (video)

On Tuesday evening, September 17, the car flew into the lobby doors at Trump Plaza in new Rochelle (state of new York). According to preliminary information, injured three people, including the driver. They were hospitalized, but, according to doctors, the injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Witnesses said that the black Mercedes crashed into the door of the hall a tall building, having flown inside and breaking the glass.

According to Tony Aiello, a reporter with CBS, the vehicle was severely damaged, and the driver (his name not yet released), got out of the car and sat on the couch in the lobby of the building. The man was covered in blood.

Local resident Marlene Johnson says still in shock.

«I always walk the dog at this time, and it’s crazy to see how the machine cuts straight to the glass doors. The question immediately arises – the driver lost control or intentionally crashed into the trump Tower? I don’t know.»

The police are still investigating the cause of the incident, but Sergeant Chris Castilla police Department new Rochelle told The New York Times that the accident likely was not intentional.

435-foot Trump Plaza 175 Huguenot Street opened in 2007. Donald trump called the 40-storey building «a milestone in the revival of new Rochelle».

In the tower there is a fitness centre, an outdoor area on the roof, as well as many offices.

Developer of the building were made by Louis R. Cappelli, a real estate Mogul who heads the firm, Cappelli Enterprises and participated in the development of millions square feet of luxury property.
