In Washington in the shootings, two were killed and seven were injured. Police looking for suspects

As a result of two shootings in the Washington (D.C.) on Thursday, September 19, two people died and seven were injured.

During the first fire one was killed and five people were injured, while two of them were in critical condition. According to police chief Stuart Emerman, at the time of the attack the victim was in the yard of a residential building in the heart of Columbia heights.

The two suspects were seen in the Nissan and used «rifle style AK» reads the police statement.

«Detectives are interviewing witnesses and looking for surveillance cameras,» said Emerman.

After about half an hour after the first incident, unidentified men opened fire in the North-Eastern part of the city. In the incident two people were injured and one died. According to NBC, citing police, had no prior indication that the two shootings are linked.

The district of Columbia police on Twitter has confirmed a second shooting in the 1400 block on Rhode Island Avenue to the South of the district Bruklend.

On Friday, September 20, the police chased a couple of suspects in one of the attacks, which probably were armed with rifles. It is unknown whether law enforcement agencies to detain them.
