The pastor of the Church Iglesia Pentecostal Principe De Paz in Gaithersburg (MD) was arrested and charged with attempting to rape a girl.

According to Montgomery County police, 42-year-old Octavio Cantarero of the Gaithersburg (MD) supposedly said minors that the demons provoked him to commit a crime.
The victim told the police about the incident in may. According to her, 16 January, Cantarero told her that she is too young to live alone, so he provided her a room in the Church. How old is the girl is unknown. Then he led her to a room in the Church, in which was a bed, and said that they both will sleep there.
At night she woke up because of Cantarero attempts to rape her. He stopped his sexual harassment after she started to resist. According to police, the pastor asked the victim not to tell anyone about what happened, and offered to buy her clothes and pay for rent and school.

The pastor surrendered to the police on Saturday, September 21, after 16 September, a warrant was issued for his arrest. Cantarero was accused of attempted rape in the second degree and other sex crimes against minors.
Police are asking anyone who believes they or someone else could become a victim of Cantarero, to call the investigations division by phone 240-773-5400.
