The Department of education of new York is accused of sexually abusing nine-year-old student with special needs.
28-year-old Kevin lemon was taken into custody on Friday, September 27, in Brooklyn and charged with criminal sexual act, sexual abuse, sexual misconduct and violent actions that are detrimental to a child younger than 17 years.
The accused, who worked in the school PS 059 Bedford-Stuyvesant, the teacher’s assistant, allegedly raped the girl 3 times in the school during the school day. The victim was not a student with special needs.
Press Secretary of the Department of education called the charges «deeply disturbing».
«He will be suspended without pay until the investigation is completed,» — said in a statement the Agency.

The parents of the school want to know how alleged crimes for so long remained unnoticed.
«How often he could be alone with the little girl? I think adults should be more involved,» says the grandmother of one of the students of Nirmala Maloney.

Court-appointed attorney told the judge that the victim recently had an injury, so they assumed she could come up with this story. Counsel claims that lemon didn’t even know a student wants the investigators reviewed the video surveillance camera. About the alleged victim is unknown.
The judge ordered the accused bail in the amount of $50 thousand.
