Charred human remains were found in the toilets, which was set on fire at a construction site in Florida

The charred remains of an unidentified woman was discovered in the toilets on a construction site in St. Augustine (FL).

As reported in The Florida Times-Union, on Saturday, September 28, at 7:30 a.m., firefighters found the body after he responded to the fire near the house, the construction of which lasts for several months.

Detectives from the County Sheriff’s office St. Johns are working to determine the identity of the woman and cause of her death.

«Someone could get there, and the methane gas could somehow be ignited,» — explained the representative of the Sheriff’s office Chuck Mulligan.

The representative was puzzled because of the potential crime scene.

«In 32 years of working in law enforcement, I’ve never seen anything like it,» said Mulligan.

An autopsy is expected on Monday, September 30.

«We are asking all who have relatives or friends that have never heard and which have not been in touch, contact the County Sheriff’s office St. John and to apply to the Department for serious crimes,» said First Coast News at the Sheriff’s office.

Neighbors reported that they heard a rumble and reported the fire, but said he didn’t see anyone on the construction site before the fire.
