The gunman opened fire in a Church during a wedding, injuring the priest and the bride

The shooter, who opened fire on Saturday at a wedding ceremony in the Church of new Hampshire, was a stepson informed of the murdered preacher. In the death of that preacher suspected son of the groom.

37-year-old Dan Holloway opened fire in the Church of New England Pentecostal Ministries in Pelham, injuring a 75-year-old Bishop Stanley Choate in the chest, and 60-year-old bride Claire Macmillan in hand. The groom — mark Castiglione received minor injuries.

Holloway’s stepfather, 60-year-old Luis Garcia, was serving in the house of prayer before he was shot dead on 1 October, said Prosecutor Ben Agati.

According to the Prosecutor Agati, 24-year-old son of groom — Brandon Castiglione had previously been charged with the murder of pastor Garcia. Garcia’s funeral was to be held after the wedding ceremony.

The father of the groom and 87-year-old Angelo Castiglione said that the man in black shot the Bishop, and then set his sights on the bride and groom.

«I ran to stop the shooter, but my other son, Gary, was ahead of me, grabbed this guy and threw him. He managed to take the shooter’s gun,» added Angelo.

Other members helped hold the suspect until the police arrive.

Holloway is accused of attempted murder, causing bodily harm, assault in the second degree and illegal possession of firearms. It needs to appear before the court on Tuesday.
