The remains of 3-year-old girl found in a dumpster after she was kidnapped at a birthday party

The remains of 3-year-old Camille «Cupcake» McKinney was found on Tuesday, October 22, a week after she was abducted from a party on the occasion of the birthday in Birmingham (al).

On Friday, October 18, police released video surveillance footage of Camilla and another 3-year-old child for a few minutes before she disappeared. They both bend over and collect some items from the ground, and then the man approaches and starts talking. Video ends right after two kids go after him.

The day after the discovery of the remains, the forensic examination confirmed that the body belongs to Camille. Cause and time of death has not been determined.

According to the chief of police of Birmingham Patrick Smith, the remains were found in a dumpster at the dump after a few days of searching. He noted that this place was not far from the apartment complex where the baby was last seen.

29-year-old Patrick Devon Stallworth and his partner Derek Irisha brown was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping girls and now they will be charged with her murder. Allegedly, the man and the woman offered the girl sweets and kidnapped her.

«We believe that it was exactly what they thought and did, Smith said about the suspects. They saw an opportunity to take a small child, which they did.»

Stallworth previously been charged with four counts of possession of child pornography and three counts of possession of child pornography with intent to distribute.
