In the US father and daughter were kidnapped and raped a woman before dumping her in the desert

This week a woman abducted from a Las Vegas (NV), was rescued from the desert Antelope, just North of Los Angeles (CA), where she was beaten, tied with duct tape and left to die.

As NBC4 reported in several sources in law enforcement agencies, detectives from the County Sheriff’s Department Los Angeles and FBI agents arrested a father and daughter Stanley Alfred Lawton (54) and Shaniya Nicole Poche-Lawton (22 years) suspected of organizing the kidnapping and attempted murder.

According to the captain of the Sheriff of the County of Los Angeles, Eduardo Hernandez, a man and a girl dropped the woman off the highway near the Edwards air force base North of Los Angeles, where her early in the morning found the soldiers.

The hospital reported that the victim received critical injuries. Her identity has not been made public.

The woman was kidnapped in Las Vegas last Friday, November 1, and held in captivity in Nevada, then in the car trunk, and finally in a place in Palmdale. The woman told detectives that the kidnappers forced her to withdraw money from your Bank account, and reported that she was repeatedly beaten and subjected to sexual violence.

Lawton was arrested on Wednesday, November 6, and his daughter was taken into custody early the next morning.

Each of them charged with kidnapping to commit robbery, attempted murder, kidnapping from outside the state, rape and robbery of an ATM, according to the district attorney’s office County of Los Angeles.

Lawton and Honours Lawton posted bail in the amount of $4.5 million and $3.5 million respectively.

The case can be transferred to Federal court because the kidnapping victim was transported across state lines.
