The woman’s body was found near sewage treatment plants in Massachusetts

The woman was found dead near sewage treatment plants in Athol (mA), about 70 miles Northwest of Boston. Police reported that the body was discovered at the entrance to the plant early Monday morning, November 11.

Death «is considered criminal in nature,» reads the police statement.

The woman was described as white, aged about 20 years, but her name and cause of death has not been released. The police said it will share more information after the autopsy.

According to WBZ, the body of the deceased was found at the entrance to the city treatment plant, which is also located near the camp, where there are few homeless.

County residents say that this situation was shocking to them because they all know each other.

«It’s crazy. I always come here and drink beer with friends, but I never thought that something like that will ever happen here,» said WBZ, a local resident Missy LeClair.

The woman befriends the homeless who live in the camp near the scene of the crime, and said that they were questioned by police.

«They’re good guys. Just because they are homeless doesn’t mean they are, they’re good people,» said LeClair.

The police Department Athol and Massachusetts state police are jointly investigating the incident.
