The house found four dead, including two children. Police believe the murder occurred

Four adults and two children were found dead in a quiet suburban home in Westchester County (new York) Thursday, December 5.

The police says little about what they found after conducting welfare checks at home on Romer Avenue.

«Official representatives of the school Plesantville asked to carry out an inspection after an absence of children in their schools. Officers arrived and entered the house, where they found the bodies of two adults and two children, said police chief Plesantville Eric Grutzner at a press conference. — The cause of death has not yet been determined».

The crime scene is at the corner of Pleasantville»s high school and middle school campuses. Some school bus drivers had to turn around as they approached the schools. According to Grutzner, all the victims were members of the same family. Police are treating the house as a crime scene, although Grutter haven’t said anything about the victims, including the reasons for their death.

The Journal News reports that the eldest child was in elementary school Bedford-row, and the youngest child was in preschool.

«Our hearts are broken because of the news about this incredible tragedy. This is a very small community, and it affects all of us in this little village,» said Mary Fox-Alter, head of the Free school of the County Plesantville.

The house where the tragedy occurred, is located near the school. In the village area of 4.9 square miles is home to about 7300 inhabitants. Pleasantville is located approximately 34 miles North of Midtown Manhattan.
