The famous architect died on the sidewalk in new York city after a building facade collapsed on her

On Tuesday, December 17, had an accident, which killed a woman.

An unidentified 60-year-old passerby was walking on 49th Street near Seventh Avenue about 10:45 when part of the facade fell from the Central tower directly on it. According to police, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

City records show that in April of this property «refuses to maintain the exterior of the building and auxiliary structures.»

Building inspectors noted «damaged brickwork on sites above 15-th floor in several places that creates danger to pedestrians».

As reported by journalist PIX11News, the deceased was 60-year-old architect Eric Tishman, who lived in Manhattan.

As has been explained in The Post, tragically deceased woman was an outstanding architect with degrees from Harvard and Princeton. Thismany were members of the Central synagogue in Manhattan since 1992.

She held the position of Vice President of Zubatkin Owner Presentation LLC, the company’s project management with its headquarters on 52nd Street.

The company that owns the building — 729 Acquisition LLC — did not respond to a call for comments from the NY Post.
