Vaughn Edwards, 52, and his wife Christine, 57, had a great time at the Christmas party when he of staff men, having touched with alcohol, started a skirmish. 38-year-old David Jenkins was shot down Vaughn’s legs with just one kick. He was unable to rise.

According to Christina, her husband was a «good» man and just loved Christmas Eve, and shortly before the attack began to prepare for the «perfect» holiday. Over decorated house and thought over solemn Christmas meal — but 23 Dec 2017, his plans came to an end.
«He was going to prepare a festive dinner on Christmas eve and had written on the chalkboard in the kitchen menu. says Christine — We forever could not bring myself to erase it».
This is just awful. The family were out for a Christmas party. Vaughan Edwards was punched at a bar in Llanelli and never came home.

The woman still recalls with horror the night of the clashes, Vaughn Jenkins.
«He just fell and did not rise. Even then I said to my daughter, Emma: «This is the end». It’s like I felt».
It took 2 years, but Christina is still learning how to live without a spouse. On his gravestone she was asked to engrave a phrase, «This life was beautiful» as a reference to the beloved film Won «it’s a wonderful life», which the pair watched for a few weeks before the tragedy.
She hopes that the story of her husband’s will draw attention to the problem of crimes committed under the influence of alcohol.
